I have read on the forum before where records from police have not arrived. Ours were sent to us in July, so my question is will they send you another copy or do you have to pay and reapply?

I woudl certainly ask to be sent another copy free of charge and see what they say. And do keep chasing this frequesntly. I know its a pain - but a friend of mine didnt keep on top of this - and becasue of that lost a chance at PR. I know thast not your situation - but the police sometimes dont realise just how important those documents are to us.

If you have to pay for a new one - it may be worth seeing if you can pay extra for some sort of registered post. In the UK - Airsure is worth looking at - its provided through Royal Mail - but I dont knwo if the police would be ahhpy to do that. Worth asking I guess.

If its from Cyprus - thast a whole other issue!
