Just looked at this and it tells us our property was last sold in 2002  . We've lived here for 4 months so they've had time to update the records.

When I was in UK I had to do searches on a similar database, it was always about 6 months behind...

Our property page is up to date, said it was sold in may 2006, and that was when we bought it.
Does it take long before the email arrives?

Ok dumb question - what is a QV report???
Is it something to do with the rateable value of a property or is it what the property has sold for in the past?

My email took a few minutes to come through.
Marcia, its a report on the size/value of the house and a history of its recent sales & purchases, and gives a valuation based upon the recent sales in the area of similar houses, and their increase in value. It also gives a breakdown of the population by economic standing and race. Also gives the percentage of rentals in the area, its based on the 2001 census at the mo. Its actually quite an interesting read, would post mine, but its too big to do as an attachment.
If you want a nosey PM me your email addy and I will forward it to you.

We did ours last week, both of our properties were up to date with the correct selling/buying date on them.
It's nice to get something for free.
