Hi there
Have just recently discovered this website!! Will try not to bore you all - We are moving to NZ by early November 2006 and have found this forum very interesting although some comments have scared me too!! My husband is a Kiwi (always wanted to go home) me Australian although have irish parents & lived there for 10 yrs. 3 years ago I decided we needed the "seachange" and NZ seemed to be the best idea. I am quite shocked at how many people say the cost of living is high in NZ - maybe its on par with Australia (otherwise i'm in trouble). We have 4 kids and think that we might try to live the "ma & pa" way of life and like the look of the Katikati area (Tauranga) is anyone from around there I would appreciate any info on the area. Anyway thought I might
introduce myself and will keep reading the posts - really informative!!
