I got two children with food allergies, currently they are outpatients at local hospital, both of them got last appointments next week before we leave. So i want to be prepare for transfer to NZ's hospital, what do i need to from hospital to take with me for children's sake? apart from their medications and their medical file if i can get hold of them.
Also can you recommend good health insurance that do cover allergies? :nice1
Thanks x

Hi Nippa

I can't recommend any insurance sorry, but if you can get hold of their medical files and bring them, I'd say that would be a huge bonus.

Our med records were sent over FOC from our docs when we registered with a docs here, but didn't include all the historical detail's i would have liked, such as letters from consultants etc. It was a summary instead.

In OH's case it said

Born
Broke finger
Still alive

Mine was more comphrehensive and I would have liked that.
