Should my name be the only one on the shipping container as I am the only one with PR? Or can a person coming in on a visitor visa ship household items too? So many questions all of a sudden...argh.

Hi Amy,

IMO, I'd just put your name down. Makes the paperwork on the NZ end much easier and you won't run the risk of an overly "by the book" customs agent charging addtional fees.

Keep in mind that if your name is on the paper they will only release the shipment to you. We put both of our names down and in the end it was good because I wasn't here when our stuff finally arrived. But my partner is a kiwi so we weren't in your shoes. good luck.
