ugh, this packing lark is so crappy! everything major is done and the stuff we are shipping went today. all thats left is to throw out all the stuff we dont want..ive already given away a lot of things. i just want it to be over and to be on the plane!! who wouldve thought i would look forward to that icky flight!!
running on fumes at the moment as time seems to fly and all of a sudden its 1am and i havent been to bed!
am thinking of what to wear on the plane..i know that it can get nippy with the air con but im arriving in perth (for a two week stay) and my mum says its been about 27 degrees. any tips?
we're flying with malaysian airlines... can i ask where we want to be seated on the plane? id like to be in one of those blocks by the windows with the three seats because i hated sitting in the middle block on the way over!!

thanks for listening to my wee vent/ramble and for any help in advance!! :D

Just wanted to wish you luck. try wearing a few layers on the plane so you can add to/strip off if need be. They usually give you blankets and pillows on the long haul flights as well anyway!

Have you booked your flights online? i know with singapore air if you book online you can actually choose your own seat there and then, try looking at a site called seatguru

http://www.seatguru.com/

this may help if you know what sort of plane you are going on for which are the good and bad seats!

All the best! :nice1

As marcia says wears thin layers. :nice1

If you have something like a pashmina or wrap, pack that too, I found that helped when I didn't want to sleep but just needed something round me to stop my bits freezing from the air con.

Good luck.

If you arrive early enough at checkin you canusually request what seats you want. The 'seatguru' site is a good tip too.

Pashmina !!!! Don't leave home without one !!!!

thanks a million for the tips :)

i did book my flights online, and originally was going to fly with cathay but malaysian had better deals..cathay let you choose your seats but malaysian doesnt unfortunately so im going to try and get there fairly early so i might have a chance of getting a nice seat!!
