Thought it was about time we joined this forum. Have been an avid reader for the last few weeks, and now that our EOI has been selected, have loads of questions (some probably quite bizaar) to work through.

We are hoping to move to Christchurch area from the midlands (when hubby manages to find a suitable IT job), with no particular timeframe in mind....probably next summer. Move could be somewhat complicated due to having 2 very boisterous children aged 3 and 18 months, and no 3 due early next year!!
Anyone else have experience of moving with young children/babies?

Wanted say a big welcome to the forum - you'll fins loads ofothers who have moved with young children - seems the best time to uproot them - no boyfriends or girlfriends to upset :laugh

Use the search facility to find loads of great information on older threads and if you can't find the answer - ask - no question is too daft!!

Hi, welcome to the forum, a great source of info. Just ask and you will probably find an answer or somebody point you in the right direction (or maybe just an opinion but it is better than nothing!!)

Good luck, as Marcia said, there are far fewer problems with little'uns than the older kids, where all sorts of complications come in to play. :laugh

Hi and welcome to the forum. We travelled with our two preschoolers earlier this year. We'd also done the return trip to NZ when our eldest was 9 months old. We are moving out to nz in end of oct, coming from midlands to christchurch with two young children, 3 and 9months by time we fly :clap . So PM us for any advice, we will try help!
