finally, at this insane hour of the night (its only 1am but feels like ive not slept for weeks) i am finished packing etc. my bag weighs 21kg (which i dont think is too bad and i think ill get away with it??) and my hand luggage 3.5kg (can have 5 :( but im sure ill find more things to put in tomorrow!)
apartment is tidied and shortly i shall be mopping myself into my room :D
we're flying to heathrow tomorrow evening, staying a night in a hotel, then 12pm saturday we'll be on our way to new zealand (via perth).
thank god!

the only thing worrying me now is the list i just got off my mum for duty free stuff..i thought she'd forget but no! more stuff to carry :D

thats it from me..just wanted to decompress and clear my brain.

good luck ! we came over to Nelson just a month ago now. The 21Kg thing is fine, we had around 22kg per bag, then were told that we could have put up to about 27kg in each as we were emigrating, and this was even when the terrorist thing was going on. Put a bit more in your case and fill your hand luggage - I wish we had done now !

thanks everyone!! in the airport taking advantage of the free wifi. i was grand with my 22kg leaving ireland but still have heathrow to deal with tomorrow!! *gulp*
