Hi all,

We have just got the news that our application for PR has been approved. :clap

It's been a nailbiting couple of weeks waiting for the final decision. I know that this is where all the fun starts with movers, transporting the dog and saying goodbye to family & friends, but today i am just going to let myself wallow in the great feeling that comes with the Yes from immigration. I'll think about the rest tomorrow.

Our house is sold and should complete at the end of Oct so we'll soon be winging our way to Christchurch.

Thanks to everyone on the forum for all the extremely useful info, i'm sure i'll have lots more questions in the next few weeks.

BTW, to anyone who went to NZIS London to get their Blue Stickers, can you just turn up to get them or do you need an appointment and how long does it take to get them done? OH has just told me he might have to fly to Canada on business next week so we can't really post our passports.

Just going to put my hidden bottle of bubbly in the fridge for later!

From a very happy Olivia & Steve :D :D

Congratz with the good news;
For the blue stickers, i suggest you contact your c/o
and probably have to set an appointment, explain you need passport
for business trip, then they will do it while you wait, call them :)

Olivia and Steve,
Congratulations! What exciting news.
It's almost midnight here on a clear spring evening in the Waikato. Hope to see you in NZ soon! :nice1
Okay, bedtime.
Well done again!

:clap :clap We are so glad to hear your news. It was great meeting you and Steve on Sunday.

Regarding getting your passports stamped I think the best way is to ring the London branch on 09069100100 and ask if you need an appointment. If so they will do it for you.
The most annoying thing re this is they charge £1 per minute which is a bit naughty but its worth it in the long run

Kindest regards

Dave and Caroline :clap :clap

Olivia

Congratulations. Enjoy the bubbly! :cheers:cheers

You can also call NZIS on this number at normal rates - 01344 716199.

OH went up and got our passports stickered. He had an appointment for 11 and went back for the 45mins later. Email your case office or call the number above.

Good luck.
