Along with Olivia, we also got the e-mail this morning confirming that we are being granted permanent residence. I've been wearing the biggest smile all morning.. and can't wait to get home to celebrate tonight. We've got a bottle of Pelorus from the cloudy bay winery, that we carted round NZ, OZ and singapore for 3 months in our hand luggage, and 15 months on - I can't think of a better reason for drinking it.

Thank-you so much to those of you who managed to keep me sane over the last few days - your wise words of wisdom and advice were much appreciated and really did help.

Looks like friday is the day that NZIS send out the decisions on applications that they've been working on all work - so fingers crossed for youTigerlily - here's hoping that we can make it three out of three.

Right, got shippers coming to give quotes in a couple of weeks, cat is microchipped, - better start thinking about flights and then Feb 07 - Christchurch here we come!

p.s - can't see me getting much work done in the office this afternoon!

absolutely! - as we never quite managed to get together for our proposed london/home counties meet, we should definitely meet up in Christchurch.

It really is a great feeling. I know there's a whole heap of hard work ahead, but for today at least - its just about celebrating!
