Hello folks,

I am renting out my 3 bedroom furnished house for 3 months over summer so that we can renovate and sell my partners house. The house is in Newtown, Wellington which is about 30-40min walk or 10min drive from city centre and about the same from the beach. It a very sunny house which a garden, bbq, large living area and good sized bedrooms. It is opposite a large park and the zoo. 5 mins to the shops and bus stops. The rent is $450 per week plus power/gas and phone. It is availbe from mid to late Nov for approximately 3 months but I am I little bit flexible.

Not in the market (or country) to rent but curious to know if you allow dogs? There may be fourmites with pets looking for a Wellington rental.

depends on the dogs ;-) The garden isn't huge but it is fenced ... but the fence is quite low on one side (about 1m) so a bigger dog could easily get out.... there is a dog exercise park across the road... so in theory yes :-)

What a shame you are not looking to rent from mid january for 3 months... I have a job offer for Wellington Hospital and a family consisting of a husband and three children - no dogs... so it would have been ideal... never mind... If you hear of anyone else needing a house sitter in Wellington keep us in mind! :)
