 Ok spent the afternoon sorting out drawers to try and clear space so i can start spliting up the case and container stuff.

have a couple of things that have cropped up need you experts to help with!!!

First nail varnish and nail varnish remover - can you ship these items - seem to remember someone saying something about them somewhere but can't find anything when I do a search!!

Electric tooth brush heads - the two bigger kids have colgate actibrush toothbrushs, and Emerson has an Oral B one, can you buy the replacement heads in NZ or should bung a few in the container to be on the safe side??

I'm sure as the days go by and I'm sorting more stuff out the questions will become even more crazy - but hey ho - thats what this forum is for!! :D

Never heard of any problems with nail polish.. hope not, cause I've got heaps of the stuff.

Hi Marcia,
My advice is bring everything, I do not know about the toothbrush attachments but if they do have them here they most probably will be the same price so my advice is to stock up better safe than sorry. My mistake was Hoover bags and my first visitors had to pack replacements for me in there suitcases. I did not have any problem with nail varnish etc just bring it. Customs do not seem to be interested in that. My advice is bring everything, it will save you in the long run. We have ended up buying things here that I gave away or threw away before we left.

You can definitely get replacement toothbrush heads here. I have an Oral B and it is about $20 for 2 heads. I think - I just throw them into the trolley when shopping and don't really look at the cost, it's not as though you can go without brushing your teeth!

I have no idea about shipping nail polish and remover, but I can confirm that you can buy that here too for when you run out! OPI is $17 a bottle ($20 for limited edition colours).

I brought nai varnish out here, in my suitcase. No problems there. Might have changed with new regulations though?

Thanks guys - was concerned about the nail varnish being flamable really - think I'll take the varnish and donate the remover to my mum! :D

We had Crown round today for a shipping quote and they told me nail varnish is fine to take either packed or in your suitcase but you can't take the polish remover so that confirms what everyone has posted so far.
