Hi, welcome to the forum!!
Afraid it is a case of seeing what NZIS want, work out from the immigration website where your quals put you in terms of "desirability" on the job front. If you a business coach does that mean you have business quals that would enable you to apply for another position, possibly one on the shortage list?? You'll have to forage around for that one, maybe somebody else on the forum with that background may be able to help you. Good luck, and welcome to the forum again :)

I dont know if this helps but we have just been selected for EOI and on the letter it said that the pass mark was 140 points for that period

140 points "guarantees" selection but people always selected with fewer points.
this time round they took people down to 100 points provided they had some points from skills shortage areas and down to 115 with no points from skills shortage areas.

The EOi stays in the pool for I think 6 mo. (as long as it's at least 100 points), and you can add to it as your situation changes, eg: you get a job offer, finish a degree, ect. to raise your points. Also, on the NZIS site, www.immigration.govt.nz they tell you the point range they selected forenightly.
Hope that helps. :)
