Went to NZ house today. I E.mailed my case worker to inform her and was only able to book the day off last thing yesterday so could not arrange an appointment time. NZ house was very easy to find. From Euston get the tube northern line to Charing Cross. Go out of the station not at the stairs out but follow the corridor then turn left and walk straight on. You then get to Trafalgar Square, go passed the portrait gallery and carry straight on. You get to a main road and it is right on the corner.
Went to reception and was asked to take a seat. Only waited 5 mins and a man came and took me up in the lift. I told him my case workers name and that I had E.mailed her but could not give a time. He said that she may be on her lunchbreak but went to find her. Only waited another 5mins and she came through. went through all the paperwork and she checked everything. She said it may take between 2 weeks and 3 months to process. Also some concern about a medical condition so is going to check this out with the medical adviser.
Everyone there were really helpfull and friendly. On the way out if you take a left where the reception is there is a room with loads of information and leaflets as well as newspapers and came back loaded with info. Now just got to wait and hope that my medical condition doesnt cause problems. I think its much easier to go and see your case worker and submit everything rather than posting it all at least it is sorted and you get an idea of where you are!
