Although my job title was admin asst in the states, i was more of a project assistant with some admin and PA duties. while i'm in england, it seems that PA roles are the most lucrative of clerical/office roles. just wondering how things work in new zealand so i'll know how to best present/amend my CV.
cheers;)

well my present job is Admin Asst, but I do everything and basically do all the admin for the Parks Op dept, and PA to the Mgr
On my CV I explained the raried roles that I had had in my jobs...IE I was an Office Mgr for a small company - so that was I did everything!
As an Admin asst for the college I did the basic stuff and also more technical reporting stuff - I got my job the day i went for the interview, and I have an interview for another job as a Asst Mgr tomorrow so they must think I am capable....fingers xd.
Hope that helps

thanks for the info. perhaps NZ will be more laid back than the UK in terms of role titles etc. i've done just about everything from PA stuff to project mgt as an admin, but here it seems they only look at titles, which is inefficient and hindering for employee and employer.
