Hi All

Very long time no talk.

We have been so busy with new jobs and we keep moving !!

We have had to move out after 4 weeks of renting as owners had sold there other house. But it suited us as customs openned our container to look at our wine and DVD's and then went on sick and did not cleared it for delivery for another 2 weeks. So instead of moving twice we only had to unpack once. Plus new place is so much warmer. I now know what you guys all talk about drafty houses. :laugh

Job has settled for both of us, hard work getting used to getting up early again. did not know the clocks went forward so spent Sunday out of sync followed by being 1 hr late Monday :wah

Missing the sun, we have come here to the coldest winter and boy is it windy in Wellington.

Met some lovely Brazilian couple which are not work people so nice to have a laugh about how hard the kiwi accent is to understand sometimes.

Have had several weeks of tears though, of missing what I do not know, home I think. Which is neither UK or Cyprus. but I missed my life for several weeks here as I felt I was going through the motions of trying to make it work, rather than living.

Finally now we have a warmer house, our own bed, personal items, and my health getting back to normal I feel I have crossed a line. 2 months they say and its very true. I think its the first Sunday I have not bursed into tears since we got here. Sunday are family days so its the day you have more time to think I suppose.

It's great to talk

Angela

Glad to hear that you are making progress. I also now understand about the houses.
Hope summer is just around the corner.
Best wishes. Debbie

glad to see that you are starting to settle, yes its hard sometimes, especially missing family.
I have experienced some windy weather down here in the last week, and boy i am glad our new house is warm and not a clapperboard home! although I the ones around seem fine, the windows were filthy too, must be all the sand whipped up in the winds from the beach over the hill...
Just think, one week to go and we have a long weekend YAY!!!!!

so good luck and heres hoping we have nice weather for us all
