after reading the thread on the Men. B. vacination for kids i'm a little confused and concerned. Is it going to be straight forward for me to get my 2 yr. old and my 8 yr. old vacinated? and what about my 13yr. old? I read somewhere that over fives vacinations are only being offered untill the end of the year? Are there any other vaccines it would be prudent to ask for in NZ or UK before we leave?

Also with the TB vacinations being cancelled recently in our UK schools my eldest son has not received his, does anyone know if TB is a concern in any part of NZ?

Suddenly getting paranoid again!!

As we are fly out in two weeks, my children's health visitor have been finding out for us, and told us as long they are fully covering for UK, they are fine and then NZ dr will check what they need next for NZ's. Also get your health visitor to give your children's final age and health check over and sign the red book off and take red book with you showing that children had been well care and got list of what children had been vaccinations in UK at what dates etc for next health visitor 'plunkets' in NZ.
