Hi was wondering if anyone had their variation of conditions denied?. I currently changed jobs cause i couldnt handle my ex-employer any longer and currently am on orientation with a new company. I called immigration and was told i could go for the orientation unless i it was a 'no gain, no loss' situation(where i was not going to be earning anything) till my new work visa comes out. So what i would like to know is if anyones been denied the VOC.

I have had 8 VOC's in 11 months and none have been denied. Maybe its because i have stayed withing the same employment and not changed jobs. If i were to do that then i would have to apply for a new visa.

And how long did it take for you to get it each time. Ive rung them up and they said it would take 2-4 weeks. Is that true or is that just a time frame? And also did you ever start a new job without a renewed workpermit?

Timeframe is only 2-3 days for it to be processed, so where they are getting 2-4 weeks from is anybody's guess. Did i start work without it in place......:no just ain't worth the hassle if you get caught.
