Hi John and Alison from Yorkshire here, stumbled on this forum about a week ago and have found it really useful. Thought we better introduce ourselves:- Planning to move to Wellington area Jan 07 (if all goes well) Alison has job offer :) , medicals beginning Nov, house sold.
We are going to expo Manchester next Saturday looking forward to it after reading about last years reviews.
Today went to emigrate show in York, not much cop (ok if you are thinking about moving somewhere but undecided about which country) lots of stands with people offering to do you EOI etc.
I am sure in the next few weeks we will have loads of questions...

were from doncaster south yorks originally. we went to the expo at york a few years ago and didnt rate it. we were virtually told by everyone we had no chance of getting to nz but i never take no for an answer and so we did it all ourselves and here we are . Welcome to the forum Dangermouse. Going to be having a NW meet in a couple of weeks in Warrington, if you fancy coming across you would be more than welcome. For Kevin and Marcia it will be their last one before they fly off on a big silver bird to the land of the long white cloud, so can expect a few blubs from Marcia we expect :laugh

It is good to meet others, informal, good chat with likeminded people. Have a search on the forum for NW meet for photos etc.....

YHewp we went to the York show too, and it was the same in 04.

Manchesters a bit better so you will get more information from there, there were stalls from Wellington there too.

We are in Beverley East Yorkshire and are hoping to be in Wellington by Feb 07 (in time for start of school term) although may be wishful thinking about getting the immigration thing done by then :( ??
