Hi all,
Please could anyone give me a ballpark indication of cost of transporting 6 people, 12 large suitcases and 6 pieces of handluggage from AKL to Howick?

I believe these are the folks you are looking for.. you can get an online estimate, they have a little trailer behind the minibus for bags.

We used them too, to the same destination :yes and seem to remember it was $60. Plenty of space for all of you as they are little mini-buses with the added space of a (covered) trailer. And . . . don't forget I'm intending to be there to meet you too :yes

You can pre-book or else book/pay for one once you arrive (through customs turn left and you'll see their counter).
