Hey guys,
im just arrived in this Forum my name is Alessio im 31 and im italian, nice to meet you all!
Id like to ask something about a job;
Ill be in Nz by March 2007 with a Working Holiday Visa, my expectation will be find a job and try to do the same thing that im doing here in Italy but i have no idea if the qualify of Dispensing Optician is common or not; I like my job and i have many years of experience in this category cause am running a family business since 1992.
I had a previous experience in Australia with a Working Holiday, and i improved my english, great experience, wonderful country and fantastic people but my impression has been that if You are travelling with this Visa u'll be considered a B series workers, ill try to explain better the meaning: the most common job that ive found in Oz was considered just for a backpackers,im a backpacker and im proud of it, but they told me to not expect nothing more than a job to make money for travel and ive done many kind of job, had a great experience but nothing more..
Ive spoken with some Kiwi guys in Oz, also with the embassy and they told me that in Nz is different there are more opportunity to grow up as individual worker, no one will give u nothing for free, this is fair enough, but if u'll feel okay with your employer isn't too difficult to obtain a work visa and then settle down. The point is: is that true?
