Anyone had any experience of taking their garden ornaments? My father designed my garden for me and sadly passed away two days later in his sleep very suddenly. I thought it would be nice to take his design with me to NZ. There are chinese stepping stones, Buddha a birdbath and other ornaments whats the best thing to clean them with and get the green off? I hav'nt included them in the sale.

Hey Dot
We were told by White & Co that if we want o take any garden ornaments with us they need to be steam cleaned and then scrubbed with the good old Jeyes Fluid. They will also have to be declared to MAFF.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Diny. So far I have washed them in soapy water and brought them in under the carport. At least all the surface grime is off its hard work especially for the heavier items. Hows the housesale doing?

We brought a wooden bird table, scrubbed repainted and declared it no problems. Use the jeyes fluid and tell maff you used it.
