Thanks for posting this article.... It just reminds us that while we are playing the waiting game that it will all be worth it in the end...

Thanks for posting - a very interesting article.
The title made me laugh out loud. Starting our 5th day of torrential rain, surrounded by floods and enduring VERY cold temps (and this is mid spring) I had to smile when the words 'Land of sunshine' jumped out at me !!!!
I found a couple of comments slightly odd ..... one person interviewed said they don't miss the 'after work drinks' routine of the UK, whereas there's a whole thread on this forum delighting in the 'after work drinks' routine of NZ.
The same person seemed to echo what almost everybody on this forum says - that he misses people more than places.
And missing his DVD collection too - I can relate to that (especially after experiencing/enduring NZ TV).
All in all a good article - have enjoyed reading it.

:laugh Like Diny I kind of laughed at the sunshine thing, since we are about to float away this spring. So much rain in the last two weeks! Moving to another country is a fairly big life decision to try to generalize in a short article, but I still enjoyed the read. Thanks for the link.

Was the author of this piece the guy from the Department of Labour?? :laugh
Knowing what our friends have been telling us of the weather they been experiencing the last few weeks, it did make me titter somewhat.
Thanks for the link all the same :nice1
