Dear everyone

I am looking into options for bringing our stuff to NZ from Sweden. One of the options is unaccompanied luggage. Having seen how rough the baggage handling at airports is, should I think about bringing our glassware (yes, I know this was an impractical thing to collect!) another way? Anyone got any advice?

Thanks,
Rose

Luggage handlers. whether they are airline or freight company ones stacking containers are not renown for their gentleness. The main thing is to pack stuff as properly as possible in good strong containers that can't be crushed, we haven't had any glassware broken in the stuff that came over by container, some of those were in their original boxes but the rest was loose packed using linen (towel sheets etc.) and then packed tightly so there was no movement within the box.

I wouldn't trust it in your luggage, having had 2 guitars ruined, even though they were in special handling packages with FRAGILE plastered all over them. If they are correctly packed for the container there should be no problems.
