I'm so sorry to hear this (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/story.cfm?c_id=1&ObjectID=10407466). I'm participating in Kiwi Ora (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/section/story.cfm?c_id=1&ObjectID=10407466), and think that it's one of the best ways the government/NZIS can make their skilled migrant program more successful.

The Close Down of Kiwi Ora
A message to concerned staff, community members, students, stakeholders, business associates and friends. Aroha mai.
It is with the deepest regret that we will be closing enrolments for Kiwi Ora for November 2006. This year has been extremely challenging and we have worked hard believing that at some time the government and the Wananga would support the programme through extending our agreement. Unfortunately this did not eventuate and faced with an uncertain future we decided to close the contract.
I wanted to express my gratitude and sincere thanks to the staff of Kiwi Ora past and present, to the previous CEO of Kiwi Ora, Mr Rob Pickstock whose determination built the operational systems of Kiwi Ora, to the current management staff, business associates, Global Origins, families and friends who have supported and given their love to help make Kiwi Ora such a great programme.
To all current students, we will be in touch with you soon to let you know what support we will be offering you to finish your studies, and to everyone, thank you for your continued efforts to support us.
I would love to extend an invitation to all concerned members of our communities if you think Kiwi Ora is worth continued funding to write to your local politician, or to the CEO of the Tertiary Education Commission (Ms Janice Shiner) asking them to re-consider funding Kiwi Ora go to: http://www.tec.govt.nz/contact/contact.html Thank you.
