Well, we were selected from the pool on the 19th July, and received an e-mail from a Craig this month requesting more information about work experience. Turns out because we worked as a motor mechanic 20+ years ago and didn't receive a qualification, our EOI didn't get through and we've been put back into the pool!

Definitely not good news, perhaps it's time to try this a different way!

Sorry to hear that but don't give up - keep trying and it will happen eventually!

We were stuck with not enough points even to apply at one point, but managed to get the job offer and then things went really fast!

We would definately have sold up and just gone out there if we didn't have the job offer (and I'm not the sort of person to do that - everything has to be organised normally) but after our reccy trip I was confident that we would sort it out, and was prepared to make a huge leap and go on a vistors visa's!!

This happened to my friends OH who now has a job and is due to fly out at the end of the year! Don't give up.... just find another way :)
