Hi everyone,
Hub & I have been lurking for a while now but thought we'd finally make ourselves known. I'm the emotional one (just reading about other people having the packers in makes the tears flow! - imagine how I'll be when it's finally us :wah ), hubby is the amused one :laugh (at my emotional out bursts).
We have learnt so much from this forum - lots of words of wisdom and really balanced views and by far the 'nicest' forum we have found so thank you all and carry on passing on those opinions, be they good or bad.
Our position is that we were selected from the pool on 2nd August and are now tearing our hair out waiting (hopefully) for decision successful. In the meantime, we booked flights yesterday for a recce trip in April so at least have something to look forward to (apart from the flight with a 4yr old!).
OH is in IT, I was an accountant in a previous child free life and may go back to this part time eventually. The dream is to head to SI but our recce will also take in NI just so that we don't write it off too soon.
