Does anybody have any reccomendations on where to get health insurance? I was thinking southern cross as they seem to be widespread over NZ.

See what the cost is when you get here, have a good shop round and find out exactly what each company offers as they vary quite a bit.

We are using State Insurance - they now do our car insurance, contents insurance and medical... as with Direct Line in the UK you get discounted products if you already do business with them on another product.
