We are just starting out on the process and I am getting very nervy about the medical. I have been known to like a bevy or three and am bothered that this may show up as a liver problem; I know they do extensive liver tests and wondered if it would be a good idea to abstain totally for a period before the checks.
Any helpful tips would be much appreciated.

Er, I did hold fire on the :cheers for 10 days before and did extra runs to sweat it out!! Nothing was mentioned though! Which doctor are you seeing? Dr Million in Mancs looked like he'd enjoyed a few bevvies in his time himself!
Welcome and good luck,
Gil

My Oh and i are quite partial to a glass of wine or two with our dinner. We didn't have anything to drink the night before the medical but apart from that we didn't cut down at all and we had no problems with either of our medicals.
I'm sure you'll be fine, but if you are at all worried then it won't hurt to cut back for a bit.

I'm also rather partial to a glass of wine or two and I even had a glass the night before the medicals! No problems. You should be fine. ;)
