We are trying to find out what happens after the interview process.
Am I correct in saying that if it goes well your status changes to Agreed In Principle?
What does this mean?
How long does it take then be granted PR?
We basically want to know if 'Agreed In Principle' is enough of a basis to sell your house on...
Had a look at other posts and can't find out what happens...it all seems a bit grey..

H & Rick - Approved in Principle means that you have PR. It's only "in principle" if you still need to get your passports to them to have the visas put in. But that's just paperwork. Once you are approved in principle you're in.
Don't be surprised if you do the interview and they don't update your status online. We received a letter saying we had gotten PR. Online never changed after "decision successful" at the EOI stage.
(It's been over a year since I got PR, but if I said anything that's out of date, someone will post a correction.)

Our status never changed online, but we got the letter and email. We are still "in prinicple" because we have yet to PAY THE MIGRANT LEVY, I made that big just because we are a family of 4 so it's a big levy for all of us. After you pay the levy and send in your passports, you've got the blue stickers!
So I'd say, yes, it's safe to sell if you get to approved in principle stage.

We had sold and moved into rental before we had received our ITA :D
As Millemoo says SELL, SELL, SELL
Last thing you want to be doing is hanging around waiting for your house to sell

When I had my interview on 2.10 the case officer said the decision would be made within 7 - 10 days. The approval letter is dated 11.10, so her estimate was accurate, but I didn't hear from her via email and didn't know anything until the letter came in the mail on 14.10. The interview wasn't stressful at all . . . unlike the waiting . . .
Good luck!

And you have up to 6 months to pay the levy, if you need / want to eke out your time here, for whatever reason......
