We are moving out to New Zealand in January 2007 and we have just come accross this forum and it has been a great help in answering any questions or squashing any doubts we have about moving. We have been through many months of form filling, organising and soul searching and it gives me much more confidence knowing that so many of you have done or are doing the same thing and are still positive about it. We are now looking forward to arriving in New Zealand to start our new life.

Welcome to the Forum. I'm relatively new to it but i agree it is a fountain of knowledge. What will you be doing in Auckland? Have you any kids or pets?

What stage are you at in the emigration process?

Thanks. Our EOI was selected 04/09/06 and our residency application is now going through. My husband is a Chartered Building Surveryor and he will be working for a property company in Auckland. I will look for a job when we arrive. We dont have any kids and pets, but I imagine they will not take long to arrive once we are there. Good luck with your move. Do you have family or friends in NZ? We dont know anyone yet, but hopefully we will meet people when we are there. My husband is a keen rugby supporter and player so he should fit in ok :D
