Hi Everyone,

Just want to introduce ourselves, my name is Natalie. Myself and my partner Mark (and three babies) are moving to Nelson New Zealand in Summer 2007 - thats if we managed to sort medicals, police check etc!!!! SOOOO COMPLICATED.

Can I just say this forum is an excellent source of knowledge regarding the whole process from EOI to actually moving.

Mark is a chef which has helped our application on the absolute skills shortages.

We have the New Zealand bug which really takes over your thoughts everyday, the more you look into it, the more you want to go. My little lad who is 7 will love the fact that alot of the lord of the rings filming was done in New Zealand.

Anyway thats it for now, hope to hear from you all soon

Natalie xx :) :)

Natalie - welcome to the forum!!! As you are in Madchester, you are in prime NW meet territory. Just missed one this Saturday, but hoping to have another soon'ish. Keep your eyes peeled on the forum.

As for the Avatars - put a google search in and you will be inundated with them. There is a maximum size or 100x100 pixels on this forum. When you find one you want, save it to your pc, then go to your user CP menu, and go from there in the avatar menu.

Any probs give me a pm and I'll walk you through it.

Steve

Where abouts in Manchester are you from. I live just near the Trafford Centre. Cant wait to get away from the sewage works near my house!!

When are you planning to leave? Have you been to a 'meet' before what are they like.

Hi,

The meets have been great, we're quite new to the forum but went on the last two. Good to meet people with a common goal who all know what you're going through.

Some of the people we met have now gone to NZ, so it's nice to think that you sort of know people over there. Everyone is really friendly, keep in touch with the wonderful StevieD and Jan who organise them.

We usually meet for lunch and the children all run around mad. I'd definitely recommend it.

Have pm'd you on our progress

Hi Natalie
I am from Manchester (Withington area) but have been living in Exeter for the past 18 months. Now we are hoping to move to NZ Wellington area. We are in the early stages of applying.
Good luck
