Hi there everyone!
I have been lurking here for several months. I have to say that the advice and information on this forum has been invaluable :yes We are hoping to emigrate to NZ late 2007 or early 2008. We have just completed the EOI and we are in the process of sending off our documents to be assessed (hubby is electrician and I am a teacher). There is just so much to be done and I am very hopeful it will all be worth it in the end ;)

I know (sorreeee!) just realised it was a bit bright and not so good on the eyes: :roll I am new to this and I thought I would experiment with colour, think I will stick to black in future easier on the eyes :yes

Thanks for all the replies very welcoming :nice1 We were thinking NI possibly Auckland although I would prefer to settle outside a city area (coming from Glasgow) We have not been to visit NZ and we are considering a visit June/July 2007 although not 100% sure whether it is best to visit or just save that money?? My OH does have some family in the NI and we would be hoping that they might keep us right with areas good to settle in/ areas to avoid etc.. I suppose it will all come down to work available, schools for me to teach in.. I hope it all comes together! :cheers
