I just HAVE to tell someone - just called immigration at the Hague and my Swedish fiance just got the work visa. Yeeeeeehar!!!!!! The passports were couriered yesterday. What a fast turnaround. They only had them a week - and they didn't let the constant phone calls from me put them off.

I just wanna shout!!!

I was a bit worried cos we don't have joint mortages, bills etc. Our finances have been intertwined in that we transfer money into each other's accounts to pay bills. But I didn't know if this was enough.

We showered them with letters (parents, brother, a multitude of friends and Sunday School buddies, hahaha), photos in all kinds of locations - with and without plaster casts on broken things, boarding passes, tickets, evidence of frenzied texting and phoning at the beginning three years ago and even fertility tests we both had (if that's not evidence of commitment, I dunno what is).

Phone rang - DHL has returned the passports. I am so excited I can hardly type!!!

Please excuse the excessive use of exclamation marks. I am a wee bit excited and I have no one to tell, hahaha.
