With Remembrance Day just round the corner, we decided to visit the ANZAC Cemetery in Harefield (UK). Harefield Hospital started out in WW1 as the 1st Australian Auxilliary Hospital and treated many ANZAC troops from the front. Those that died were buried in a section of the local churchyard. While both Australians and Kiwis were treated there, there seem to be only Australians in the graveyard. Both the Australian and NZ High Commissioners attend a Service there on Remembrance Sunday.
