Can anyone tell me once Permanent Residency has been granted do you have to leave to UK in a certain length of time? Im asking because of selling our house and sorting stuff out before we leave.

Any tips or advice on this would be much appreciated :)

You have to arrive in New Zealand within a period of 12 months;
(from the date the PR is granted and passport stamped, so
after PR is granted you have a period of few months before you have to pay
and mail your passports, meaning it can be upto 15 months total)
you could go to NZ and leave shortly after again to the UK, if you
need still more time;
in any case if you gave PR > well done ;-)

Congratulations!! Once you have been granted PR, you have up to 6 months to pay your migrant levy, then once paid you have 12 months in which to set foot in NZ. (Best check about the levy period because pimmar has got me thinking! It was 6 months for us though.)
