Hello all,
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to organise an IRD number whilst still in the UK, having been granted residency? I think if you don't have one, when you put money into an NZ account you get hit for 33% on your interest.
And which options did people take, when filling out their ASB application forms, as regards paying tax at NZ rate or UK rate? Which works out cheaper/most simple?
I'm sending some over to manage on but will retain the bulk in the UK until the exchange rate suits more, any ideas on which choice would be best?
