We have just had our container shipped off and I can give a company that YOU SHOULD NOT USE - The Removal Group, 46-48 Mere Green Road, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham
B75 5BT - stay well clear, they undertook to have our container shipped and at our home in NZ before Christmas, so we bought the kids presents and yesterday when I finally got hold of them to confirm all was fine, discovered they messed up the shipping (and did not care) so it won't now even dock until Dec 28th so we are now frantically trying to sort things out. They have been most unprofessional the whole way through including not passing on the customs paperwork which will cause a much bigger delay. They did outsource to FNWorldwide who did the actual loading for us and they were fantastic, web site is http://www.fnworldwide.com/

Because a lot of companies have the christmas shut down then be prepared for it to be a bit later and have a celebration with the kids and the presents once it arrives.

Sorry this happened to you - Lets just hope the weather is great on Xmas & you can enjoy an outdoor Xmas day!!
Veronica's right - unfortunately you may be in for a wait due to shut-downs and 'back-logs'.

Oh no - - that is one of the biggest fears we had, especially with the presents not "arriving" in time if you know what I mean?!!
Well, the house not selling yet has meant we don't have to worry about that and Father Christmas can deliver to our own home, but if we had to have moved beforehand, we would have been sweating on the container arriving in time. I wouldn't let any stone stay unturned, get it sorted out before you leave. Good luck.

Sorry to hear you've got shipping hassles, you certainly don't need it at this time.
If you feel you are getting nowhere with the company rep, write to the chairman or director.
I've looked at their site and can't see that they are a member of any trade association, but that might be worth investigation, often associations will help out. You could also try to get help from fn worldwide.
No offence meant here at all, but keep things calm and polite, follow up any emails or phone calls with a hard copy letter and copy in the MD
They can fax the customs paperwork though.
I hope you get things sorted. Let us know if you need any help.
