....before you receive them back? Was just wondering whether to send the originals of our documents apart from passports, when we submit our ITA.

Hello,

we just got ours back. We kept hold of our passports and submitted certified copies of passports, so after we had been approved for PR, we then had to send our passports in to our case officer for our bluestickers. When they sent back the passports with the bluestickers, they also sent back all our documents and original certificates etc in the same envelope..

I wouldn't expect to see them back any time soon - judging by ITA processing times..! hope that helps.. Although from memory, some things have to be originals..

Hi Pinkpiggy,

We took all of our original documents to NZ house in London and they took copies of our passports and gave them back to us and my husband will pick up the documents when we go and get our visas. We found this easier than getting everything copied but my husband works in London so it was not a problem to take them in and you dont have to make an appointment. If I had to post them I would not send originals just in case they got lost, it would take forever to replace them all. I would send certified copies.
