I see lots about the UK folks getting their medicals. Has anyone in America done them? How much did they cost? Is there a list of approved places or can any doctor do one?

Thanks

I checked with the NZIS and for the USA there are no panel doctors so you can go to your regular physician and he/she can do it for you!
I don't know about the cost I was going to see if I could sneak the medical in as my annual physical and get the insurance to foot the bill, but I guess there is still the chest x-ray and blood tests which I don't think they'll cover!

Let me know what you find out

Feathers is correct. While I haven't had mine yet (don't want it to expire before I get my ITA) I spoke with Terry, the NZIS marketing director in Portland, OR and he said any doctor will do. That's definitely good advice regarding your annual physical as that should help offset some costs although bloodwork and x-rays will be most likely out of pocket.
