Well we are leaving on the 6th feb.Flying B.A.
Just trying to get things over here organised and then can look forward to arriving in Napier!

So i will have to start looking for work ASAP.

Im a Qualified joiner,my partner is a care worker for the elderly but went to Uni for 2 years doing her nursing.

So if anyone can offer any advice/comments it would be greatly appreciated!

Good on you Shaun, isn't it exciting once you book those flights!
For nursing jobs I'd suggest your wife contacts the Napier district health board or goes on to their website (google "Napier" and "DHB" to find link).
We obtained newspapers, mailed to our address in UK, prior to moving out the first time but have to admit we didn't seriously look for work until we arrived. No harm in your wife looking for work though - the DHB's are well used to taking overseas workers and if you have an arrival date all the better.

Good luck!!!!!!

Shaun

Congratulations on the flight booking, one less thing...............

I can't really offer any advice, Hannah's is good, but I'm sure once you are in NZ you'll have little trouble finding work.

Good luck. :nice1

Congratulations!

If your partner hasn't already started the process to get her credentials approved, she may want to do that now, as I think it can take some time to get it all sorted:
