Hi all,
I'm an Saffa living in the UK for the last 7 years. the UK assessed my original SA bachelors as equivalent to local "ordinary" bachelors, and i have subsequently qualified as a Teacher hear - via the GTP [Graduate Teacher Program] and induction based course [IE no PGCE] and completed my NQT year [and then some].
Question: does anyone know if the GTP program is NZQA recognised, or do they just look at my UK QTS [Qualified Teacher Status] certificate and rate that?
Anyone been through this process and accepted/denied as a primary teacher in NZ?
Thanks,
Neil
