Just wondering whether anyone could point me in the direction of the main gas supplier in the BoP please??
My partner is a gas fitter by trade. He worked for British Gas then Transco for 15 years. What would be the equivalent in NZ? Have read on the Vector Gas website that they only supply Auckland or have I read wrong?
Any replies would be great. Thanks in advance. :)

Hi, is it the gas retailer or the network operator your interested in, i'm in Wellington and here PowerCo are the network operator, Genesis energy and Contact energy are the main retailers here, both of the retailers use contractors and not direct employees. Not sure if this helps at all as the gas industry here was treated in much the same way as in the uk being privatised, although its a much smaller industry here.

Brian, Thanks for your reply. We are generally looking at all of them, but mainly network operators - Dylan worked as an emergency call operative with gas leaks etc but also has plumbing experience. Not sure which categories these fit under! Thanks :D
