Hi, I was just wondering whether there are any Midwives out there who have worked in the UK and are now working in NZ. I am a midwife currently in the process of gaining PR; we are hoping to be in NZ by Feb/March 07 and I have a midwifery post lined up at Auckland Women's.
At the moment I am totally exasberated with midwifery practice here in the UK. I know NZ has a shortage of midwives just like the UK, but is it as bad as working for the NHS? If there are any midwives out there willing to share their thoughts and experiences of midwifery practice in NZ compared to the UK I would be grateful.
