Can you help!!
I have just filled out the Points indicator to assess if I have enough for EOI as I would be the main applicant ..at the bottom where it asks about partner it says does your partner have a recognised basic qualification and I have put yes because he has but is that right he is over the 55 age thing but they havent asked about age

i think if you are the principal applicant it won't matter what age your partner is. but his field and experience and education i think will add points to yours. i think! this is what i understand.

When I applied with my wife (partner) she received 10 points for having her Bachelors degree but I received no other bonus points (age, job, etc) so I believe it mostly hangs on the primary applicant.

I have applied as the principal applicant as Dave is over the age limit - and yes the points do count. I actually called NZIS to make sure and they said YES they count :yes
