Unfortunately I have to go through full assessment, which is by the way just for wasting time and money. I have done preliminary assessment 6 months ago and was assessed at level 10 which is the highest in NZ. Despite I am graduated from one of the best universities in the world they need me to do full assessment. Anyway, Do I have to send them original copies or just certified ones? and do I have to send work experience as stated in information (are they going to employ me or assesst my qualification??). They say it takes 20 working days, but I do not trust them as it took them more than 2 months (gross) for preliminary assessment!.
Do I need to follow up with them always?

I don't know if this helps, but when we got Steve's transcripts they sent a copy for a pre-assessment and a sealed "do not open" transcript for a full assessment. We made a copy of the unofficial one and sent the original (unofficial) to NZQA. (We still have the sealed one, as we didn't do a full assessment.) Hope it goes well. :)

What do you mean by an experience certificate? I know that NZQA told us when we did the pre-assessment, more info would required in the full, such as job experience, a letter from a boss, and that sealed transcript, in order to prove both the schooling and the actual work experience. They told us the level is a combo of all these factors. Calling NZQA directly offers SOME answers, but they sidestep if your answer is too close to a "what should I do" type thing.
Sorry if I didn't understand your question right, hopefully someone will come along with more answers! :)

Just as a matter of course, you need to provide them with official transcripts and certificates for education (secondary and tertiary)
letters, pay stubs, or other proof showing your work experience company, dates, duration, and salary
any other evidence of training, education and experience which you might have
You know where you went to school, and that you have appropriate qualifications and experience. They don't know that. In the past, people have lied about education or experience, or submitted fake documents. This is why everyone has to go through such a rigorous assessment. It's not a personal thing. Just gather everything they ask for (as best you can). If you have problems getting hold of requested documentation, contact them to talk about it.
Hope that helps!

Thank you for your detailed and cleared answer. The problem is that I might get difficulties collecting some documents, especially I got three degrees from three different countries and worked in different countries. To collect all the stuff I might need decades!!
Although I am wondering why they need job expiernce as they will asses my degree and NOT going to employ me!!!

Their purpose is not just to assess your degree. It's to make sure that you are fully employable and competent, and that if they let you into the country, you will become a productive member of the economy who puts more money into it in productivity and income taxes than you take out in medical and other services (this is why the medical requirements are also so rigorous).
If they let a migrant into the country and they become unemployable for whatever reason, then they become a burden on the jobless benefits and health care systems. That is why they are so careful about the processes of health and professional assessment.

Hmm, am I missing something here? I hadn't heard anything about secondary education certificates.
In my ITA checklist,
"Your qualifications: ... Originals or certified copies of your qualification. If you have claimed points for a postgraduate qualification, you must also provide an original or certified copy of your undergraduate qualification ..."
I don't see anything written any where about secondary education. Or perhaps I'm just mixing up terminology here: secondary education = high school? :-) Or does this only apply when NZQA report is required?
Thank you!

Normally I handle all our paperwork/financial stuff, but on this he handled it all. I know that he had to provide a transcript from his U.S. high school, to prove that he had English language competency(!). We both thought that was pretty hilarious, since we've each met people who graduated from high school in the U.S. without managing to acquire competency in English.
But it's possible that that was for his medical credentialing and not for his ITA, so I'll have to ask him.

This proof is for getting qualifications assessed by the NZQA. :)

Okay, I checked with Jeff, and the U.S. high school transcript was indeed to provide "proof" of English competency for his medical credentialing.
So you can all take a deep breath and just worry about getting the other 299 pieces of documentation you need for your ITA/assessment...
