I could be wrong, but I thought any GP would do immigration medicals in NZ?
There's nothing on the immigration NZ website that comes up if you put Auckland into the panel doc search.
ETA: This from the ImmNZ website
Within New Zealand, any registered medical practitioner holding a current annual practising certificate issued by the New Zealand Medical Council may conduct the medical.
So perhaps just find the friendliest and cheapest local doc?

Yes, any GP can and most will. Probably best to pick a few GPs out of the phone book and ask how much they charge, unless you have personal recommendations.

Can it be your own GP as well?

Yep and its well worth doing the phone around but remember to also ask if it covers the 'bloods and x-rays' as some do and others don't.

*cough* the GP we registered with did it for $150 plus got all three kids there menigitis jabs for free as well.
Just a quick heads up. The government funding of the vaccination for the unique strand on menigitis that is in NZ will stop at the end of Dec so get in before that and you will get the whole course, three jabs, for free.

My son just finished his course for meningitus and hepatitus B, fortunately. But thanks for the tip, I'll warn some friends of mine who haven't started yet.

What a bargain compared to going through the UK method!
