Hi all

Its taken me the best part of 9 weeks and 40 or more job applications. So its great to finally get a job with a professional company that will actual pay my bonus for the first 3 months. I do not start until 29th Jan but my daughter is over from the Uk on the 5th Jan for 2 weeks, so it works out well for me.

There is hope for us all :raebanana just keep pluggin away.

Saying that I am now so glad I do not have to surf for a job and keep being told the same story, your CV does not meet the clients requirments, you are over qualified etc etc. Got this one with the same CV and they appreciate my extensive and colourful career.

On top of that we may actually have a buyer for our house in Cyprus just trying to squeeze a little more out of them. If all goes well should be a good drinking weekend :cheers

Thanks for all your advice

Angela

The wife will know exactly how you feel, as she applied for more than 35 job's and each and every one came back the same, thanks, but no thanks. What made it even more annoying was there wasn't any explanation why she hadn't got the job.
The company who she is with now have actually applied for accreditation to help her go down the WTR route. She really landed on her feet with this one.

Anyway well done and bet its quite a relief now that you are an earner again. And good luck with your visit from your daughter.
