Anyone know of a Santa's Grotto in Auckland?

Visited a few in the UK, one in our local department store, a big one where they got to ride on a train first and one in Covent Garden where they got to shout up the chimney that they'd been good and a present dropped down (never made it to Harrods though!).

Anything like that over here?

Cheers

I have seen a few Santa's ,not really a grotto ,but you can sit on his knee [or your children can ] and have a photo taken .
The two that I have seen are at Botany and Manukau Westfield .

Every mall seems to have a santa that you can get your pic taken with, we got one on Thurs. but nothing like what you are looking for..

Just a thought actually what about Smith & Caugheys... they seem to be the "quality" shop, they might just have one...

edit... just checked the website.. http://www.smithandcaughey.co.nz/ they do have a santa...

Brilliant! It doesn't have to be anything fancy just a chance for them to meet the big guy. Having said that I'll probably have to bribe my 5 year old to keep quiet about his suspiscions that Santa isn't real!

What age do they stop believing - I don't ever remember believing, but I played along with it for the presents.

PS Meant to tell you about this link, which I got from DoubleGlazed on the Kiwilife site:

www.santacall.co.nz/default.aspx

It by the Warehouse and allows children to phone, say want they want and then the recording is sent to you. You can hear a sample call on the site.
