Hi all,

Long time reader and thought it was time to get involved in this great forum.

My OH and I took a year off working to see the world. We spent 6 months in NZ seeing the country and getting to know a side of our family we'd never previously met.

We've decided to take the plunge and have submitted our EOI which was selected 2 weeks ago. This site was really iseful for all of our queries.

We're hoping to move in 2008 and we're busy saving and getting everything in place so we can make a smooth transition.

Hi there B & K

Welcome (we're very new here too).

Where are you now, where are hoping to head to in NZ?

Best wishes,

Andrea Matt William and Martha (in damp Devon, hoping to be in Wellington next July)

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your welcomes. I find this forum very useful not just for emigration questions but for NZ as a whole.

We're in London hoping to move to Devonport or Tauranga. We would consider Wellington if the right jobs came up. OH works in regulation and most of the government jobs would be in windy Welly.

Hi b&k,

Welcome to the forum.

Where abouts in London are you? If you're in north London, we're hoping to have a met in Hertfordshire in the new year and it would be good if you could make it. If it's not convenient, never mind.

Hi b&k - this is the most useful forum I know. Don't hesitate to ask questions because there is bound to be someone who knows the answer, or has been through a similar dilemma

Hi b&k,

Welcome to the forum.

Very useful to draw on real life experience of others... even the mundane in Nz is often news to us
